| Description:
Garlic mustard is a biennial herb with stalked, triangular to heart-shaped,
coarsely toothed leaves. The plant grows 2 to 3.5 feet tall. Clusters
of white flowers grow at the top of the plant, with four petals that form
a cross. Garlic mustard is native to Europe. The plant gives off a garlic
order when crushed. Control: Biennial plants require depletion of nutrient reserves in the root system to reduce second-year growth, prevention of seed production and prevention of dispersal. |
