Crepis tectorum L.

Description: Narrow-leaf hawksbeard is an annual plant. Plants grow on single, branching stems from a small taproot. They grow from 1 to over 2 feet tall. Leaves get narrower and less toothed up the stem. Flower heads are yellow, individual flowers are all rayed. Narrow-leaf hawksbeard are introduced from Europe. They thrive in coarse, dry soil.

Control: Annual plants require prevention of seed production and prevention of dispersal.
